By car
From highway A4 (from Milan or Trieste): Take the “Padova Interporto – Zona Industriale” exit / state road ss 516 towards Piove di Sacco – Chioggia – Sottomarina / Chioggia; follow the signs to Porto – Strada del Porto/ after 2km, turn right at the traffic light in Via Naccari / take a left in Via della Repubblica / go straight towards Canal Lombardo / turn right in Calle Larga Bersaglio. Hotel Grande Italia is 50 meters away on the left.
From Bologna (A13): Take the “Padova Interporto – Zona Industriale” exit / state road ss 516/ follow the directions above.
Although our Hotel is situated in a pedestrian zone under video surveillance, our guests are able to reach us by car solely in order to load/unload the luggage, upon arrival and departure, sending us in advance your car plate number.
We will then be happy to show you the parking solutions. We kindly remind you to not take the main street (Corso del Popolo) because it is a pedestrian zone, but to enter Fondamenta Canal Lombardo, skirting the canal on the left. Turning then right into Calle Larga Bersaglio, you will find us at the end on the left, in front of Piazzetta Vigo.

Parking
Do you want to secure a parking space for your stay?
There is also the possibility to reserve a parking lot in one of our garages, upon availability, at the cost of € 25,00/night (our boxes are located in the Parking Giove, 1,5 km away from the Hotel).
One of our colleagues will show you the way to the Garage and, if necessary, will then help you to park your car. The return to the hotel is expected with a private shuttle service.
The car and box garage keys must be left at the front office, because, in case of emergency, we need to be able to move your car from the garage. We reserve the right to withhold the amount of € 25,00 in case of key non-return.
On the arrival day, this service will be guaranteed at the following timetables:
9 am – 12 am / 3 pm – 6:30 pm
Having a limited number of places available, it is necessary to contact the structure to check availability and communicate the model of your car, to verify that it fits within the sizes of the box.
If you are not interested in our garage boxes, you can safely park your car in the city’s public parkings, which are not under our responsibility. Here following the ones we usually recommend:

Outdoor parking at the cost of €0.70/hour (more or less €4.00 / €6.00 per day). Payment in advance by coins;

Private silos at the cost of €1.00/hour on the 1st-2nd-3rd floor (€24.00 per day), and €0.50/hour on the covered terrace on the 4th floor (€12.00 per day).

All the car parks mentioned above are a maximum of 15 minutes’ walk from the hotel.
We would like to inform all our guests that the city is overcrowded during the summer, especially on weekends. The Hotel does not guarantee the availability of free spaces and does not pay for fines if the customer wishes to park in unauthorized places.
By train
Coming from any area, go to Rovigo station and take the train to Chioggia. Take bus 2 or 6 and get off at the last stop, at Corso del Popolo. With a short 5-minute walk, you will arrive at Piazzetta Vigo, in front of Hotel Grande Italia.
By plane
Venice “Marco Polo” International Airport is 60 km away.
By car: Mestre / Padua – Ravenna ring road / state road ss 309 “Romea”/ follow the signs to Chioggia – Porto – Strada del Porto. From here, see the “BY CAR” section.
By public Transportation: Bus Arriva Veneto 85 direct to Chioggia – Sottomarina. Once in Chioggia, get off at the beginning of Corso del Popolo outside Porta Garibaldi – Campo Marconi stop. With a short 10-minute walk, you will arrive at Piazzetta Vigo, in front of the Hotel Grande Italia.
